Hello Hello.

Today’s post is inspired by my love for perfume and scents. I cannot stress the importance of perfume in a woman’s life and the benefits of making a perfume your signature scent.

Growing up, my mom was my go to perfume monger… she had lots of bottles spread out across her vanity just there, sitting pretty and I always hoped to someday have a collection as big as that someday. One of the scents that I was drawn to the most as a child was the Yves Saint Laurent “Opium” because of its strong yet undeniably softer/feminine undertone, I thought it was the perfect embodiment of a woman; Undeniable strength with undeniable feminine undertones.

Fast forward 20+ years and I’m standing at Sephora with YSL “Black Opium” in hand ( an updated version of the original) and this time the scent is sexier than the original, the bottle, the packaging, the color, everything about it is special. Having used both, I instantly decided to make this perfume my signature scent because of the unmistakable presence it has. Whether you were to walk into a room, or lean in for a hug, your scent is sure to linger, that will in turn leave a footprint on people’s minds which is just one small way of leaving your mark in this world. I have been using it for about 4 months now and I will continue to repurchase.

P.S: If you want me to do a post about layering scents and how to make perfume last longer please let me know in the comment section.                                                                                                                                                                                                                               -Bisou Bisou

My mother loved the original Opium and now I’m a proud owner of the Black Opium! YSL hits it out of the park
